Nordkalk W-Series wollastonite products are customized for the exact needs of the plastic industry. Our products are available in varied fineness of grinding and different aspect ratios of mineral (low, medium and high). In addition, we provide surface treated wollastonite grades of good quality, to improve the coupling between the filler and polymer compound and to further the functionality of wollastonite. Nordkalk W-Series products are widely used in many thermoplastic and thermoset compounds, e.g. typically in applications of automotive and electrical industries, and in elastomer and sealant applications.
On account of acicular particle shape, micronized fineness and hardness, wollastonite improves the mechanical properties, scratch resistance and thermal resistance in end product.
